Improvements

  • Improved Server LDAP connection. For more information, see Test Connection.

  • Introduced support for NTLM authentication for Microsoft SQL Server storage connections.
  • Endpoints can now be imported by reusing existing database tables, views, and indices instead of requiring new table creation.
  • Added the capability to import an endpoint to the WMC by reusing existing tables, views, and indices in the database.
  • Improved database update query performance for MariaDB, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQLite.
  • Added improved keyboard navigation using Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, and Shift+Enter when editing cells.

Resolved Issues

  • Fixed Paged Plan total editing actions affecting base periods.
  • Fixed FMC Allocation Rule page crashes when connected LDAP queries fail and improves the LDAP connection setup experience.
  • Fixed a bug that caused services to repeatedly attempt SSE connections in Qlik Cloud environments where SSE was disabled, reducing excessive log growth.
  • Fixed CSP auto-creation omitting the port for newer Qlik versions.
  • Fixed an issue where bookmarked user sessions could not be reused through the QPS service when the connection used a virtual proxy, reducing repeated authentication prompts and service load.

Resolved Issues

  • Fixed Comparison column show/hide occasionally failing to correctly update.
  • We previously implemented stricter CORS rules for more security. To fix setups that include reverse proxies, there is now an option to include additional URLs that should be allowed as origin URLs. This can be set in the Management Console > Network Settings.

  • Fixed Server’s Qlik websocket connection occasionally closing during long requests.
  • The modal for creating or editing access allocation rules now waits for suggestion data to fully load before opening.
  • Primary key constraints are no longer created for data tables stored in MS Dedicated Pool (Azure Synapse) connections. These constraints had no functional effect and have always been ignored. Any existing constraints will continue to be disregarded.
  • Fixed a bug that would remove all linked storage connections and endpoints from a space if the space’s link to the internal user is edited.

Improvements

  • Improved Azure Synapse update performance.
  • Data saved in Edit and Form endpoints are sanitized more strictly, i.e. html tags that go beyond basic styling are removed. Furthermore, the types of incoming data are more more strictly checked against the type of the respective endpoint field.

  • Added a Dynamic dimension column sizing option in General styling settings of the Plan extension. When enabled, the dimension's width is calculated based on the first 50 columns instead of the entire dataset, improving performance for large datasets.

Resolved Issues

  • Fixed an issue where edit endpoints failed to bulk-update rows with a Date-typed primary key in non-standard collations.
  • Resolved minor issues with automatic re-deployment of extensions and deployment via the Management Console.
  • Fixed an issue where user's Plan extension expand states were not persisting in Qlik sessions.

  • Implemented a temporary workaround for a Qlik data export bug introduced in the Qlik November 2025 version. This re-enables data export functionality.

    Note: Image and PDF export options are now visible but will not work for Fiplana. Qlik plans to fix single data export with QCB-33526 in the May 2026 version.

  • Fixed an issue where a password was incorrectly required when creating a new Storage Connection.
  • Fixed an issue where Plan Paging occasionally failed to render in published apps.
  • Fixed SSE endpoint creation and configuration issues.

  • Mitigated the possibility of Qlik HTTP response code 431 'Request Header Fields Too Large': Reduced size and number of cookies used by Write! extensions and server login. The fix may require the user to clear browser cache for Qlik if extensions are used before old cookie’s expiry date of one day.

  • Fixed key-value mapping occasionally not working when creating Forecasts.

Resolved Issues

  • Resolved the issue where some properties, for example Default Value, weren't displayed in the extension used as a master object or a child object (layout container).
  • [On-premise] Fixed the issue where Windows Service was applying system's NODE_OPTIONS.
  • [SaaS] Improved the public URL and it's usage for writeback and console in different contexts.

  • Fixed the JSON.parse error message on version matching the initial extension load in SaaS.
  • Fixed a race hazard and consequent error handling regarding the expand/collapse functionality for the Plan extension.
  • Fixed MsSql endpoint creation failing because field type text was allowed as primary/unique key.
  • Plan Dual KPI calculated column excessively rounded the computation for large decimal counts. Therefore, insightsoftware introduced the Ignore Decimals in Calculation mode. For more information, see Ignore Decimals in Calculation.

  • Qlik virtual proxies can be configured for use with Write!. Users who log into Qlik through these proxies no longer trigger an app-reload on login, Also, Write!-triggered reloads of these users adhere to the virtual-proxy’s load balancing rules.
  • Extension-server matching: Extensions now show a fly-in if the extension’s version differs from the configured server’s version.
  • Implement CHIPS for 3rd party cookies: Write! now natively supports partitioned 3rd party cookies.
  • Add product-specific resources to installer: In the installation folder under “/demo/solutions” insightsoftware provides apps and associated endpoints to showcase product functionality.

Updates:

  • OnPrem: Switched Erlang/RabbitMQ installation to embedded versions:

    • Erlang OTP 26.2.5.2
    • RabbitMQ 3.13.6
    • using port 9666 for message queue, allowing installation on the same system as Qlik NPrinting

    Write! now uses embedded versions for both Erlang and RabbitMQ. Existing installations of both can therefore be uninstalled unless they’re needed for other programs. Consequently, Fiplana can now be installed together with Qlik NPrinting.

  • Write! online help site update. The online help is now available at

  • Added insightsoftware-themed branding and changed the default password for new installations to “INSIGHT” (formerly it was “INFORM”).

Bug fixes:

  • Fix of Management Console not showing version without license.
  • Fix WYSIWYG Editor Hyperlink Context Pop-up hidden behind Editor Pop-up.
  • Fix Form with developer mode active occasionally showing both key and value in input.
  • Fix Form saving key-value pair to data base with multiple association groups and developer mode.
  • Fixes the issue where the progress bar coloring was not working properly.
  • Fixed non-editable cells being editable.
  • Fixed ACL trying to apply deleted spaces.
